Saab J 35J Draken - Swedish Air Force Historic Flight
After it's debut at Bournemouth Air Festival in 2019, we are excited to welcome the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight's Saab Draken J 35J back to Bournemouth, which will be displaying on the Thursday & Friday of the festival in a very special set of joint displays with the Saab Viggen!

An Air Festival First! We are incredibly excited to be welcoming the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight's Saab Viggen to Bournemouth for the very first time, which will be displaying on the Thursday & Friday of the festival in a very special set of joint displays with the Saab Draken!
B-17 SallyB Flying Fortress
For the first time since 2018, that the magnificent B-17 SallyB Flying Fortress, the last remaining airworthy B-17 in Europe, will be back to grace Bournemouth's skies on the Saturday of the festival!!
Rich Goodwin's Aerobytes Jet Pitts G-JPIT Muscle Biplane
He'll make even the strongest of stomachs turn with his supercharged & Jet Powered Muscle Biplane, the Jet Pitts G-JPIT and his mind blowing manoeuvres!!
The Red Devils Army Parachute Display Team
For the first time since 2019, we are incredibly pleased to announce that The Red Devils Army Parachute Display Team will be display across all 3 days of the festival!
An elite unit of the British Army Parachute Regiment, the Red Devils showcase the immense capabilities of the Army’s paratroopers to audiences across the world performing over 350 tandem skydives and 60 parachute displays every year! We can't wait to welcome them back to Bournemouth!

We're pleased to welcome back the AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers to Bournemouth for every day of the 2024 festival!
The Starlings Aerobatic Display Team
After their Bournemouth debut last year, we're excited to be welcoming The Starlings Aerobatic Display Team to perform on the Friday and Saturday of the festival!
The Firebirds
The Firebirds will back at the 2024 festival flying with daytime displays showcasing their graceful aerial manoeuvres across the 3 days!
RAF Tutor Display Team
We look forward to seeing the aerobatic skills of these guys in August 2024.
Rolls Royce Supermarine Spitfire XIX - Rolls Royce Heritage Flight
This beautiful example of the Rolls Royce Supermarine Spitfire XIX will be back for all three days of the festival performing a joint display with its merlin engined partner, the American P-51 Mustang!
P-51 Mustang - Rolls Royce Heritage Flight
The P-51 Mustang is back flying as part of a Merlin Formation with the Rolls Royce Supermarine Spitfire XIX, which share the same Merlin engine!
Royal Navy Black Cats Display Team - AW159 Wildcat HMA2 DUO
Royal Navy Black Cats to Bournemouth Air Festival 2024 for all 3 days, this year flying not one but TWO AW159 Wildcat Maritime Attack helicopters which can reach max speeds of 180mph!
Westland Wasp HAS1 - Navy Wings
A great example of Historic Royal Navy Aviation, we're pleased to welcome back the Navy Wings Historic Flight and their Westland Wasp HAS1 for the whole of the festival, performing both solo displays as well a great Navy formation display with the Fairey Swordfish & the Royal Navy Black Cats Display Team!

Another fantastic example of Historic Royal Navy Aviation thanks to 'Navy Wings', we are pleased to have the classic Fairey Swordfish W5856 displaying all three days of the 2024 festival, performing both solo displays as well a great Navy formation display with the Westland Wasp & the Royal Navy Black Cats Display Team!
RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Avro Lancaster B1 - "Lest we Forget"
We are thrilled that once again the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Avro Lancaster B1 is due to be flying over the skies of Bournemouth in 2024. Catch the Lancaster on every day of our three day festival, 2024, in what is the 80th Anniversary Year of D-Day, commemorating those who have fallen in the service of this country. The Avro Lancaster will be flying to promote the modern day Air Force and to inspire the future generations.
The Gazelle Squadron Display Team
We're excited to welcome a flight of four from The Gazelle Squadron Display Team for all 3 days of the festival. All personnel are civilian volunteers but are generally ex-military. The team adheres to a traditional military structure, many are experienced pilots, engineers and ground crew, most of whom have served with the Army Air Corps Eagles and Royal Navy's Sharks Display Teams.

Pleased to have the Hawker Hurricane Mk.1 come in as one of the last minute replacements for the Hawker Fury & Hawker Tempest from Ultimate Warbirds.

Not only will the mighty Typhoon be back during the day but it will also be displaying at dusk for our Night Air programme!

In addition to their daytime displays, The Red Devils will also be doing special dusk jumps as part of the Night Air Displays on all 3 days!
Brendan O'Brien and 'Otto' the Helicopter
Back for 2024, adding plenty of explosive entertainment to all 3 of the Night Air Dusk Displays, Brendan O'Brien and 'Otto' will be putting on some dazzling performances jam packed with spectacular pyrotechnics!
